Thank you - INSIDE has received over 200,000 hits in the last two months

Here is a petition for a Charter Amendment, six months to gather signatures.

It has been 4 years

It has been four years since INSIDE HCCS was created. No vacations almost daily postings, with a new chancellor, several new Trustees it is time to call it quits. This writer will move on to other things including doing more work around the house invest some time in learning. Many lives were destroyed by the former HCC administration and several Board Trustees that lack any sense of what is right and wrong. God works in mysterious ways and many of those people will suffer as they have made others suffer. God is just and fair and if you lead your life is such a manner your reward will be the same, goodbye.

INSIDE will remain online for at least one more year and more if it seems necessary as what happened at HCC should not be erased from history other wise the only thing left would be the lies that have been published by the Chronicle and several of its' reporters.

This writer and others will now concentrate in Latino politics in houston, here.

To the Houston Chronicle the Bible is the word of bigots and homophobes

If you are religious and Christian beware, and believe that the Bible is the Word of God, if you rely on the Bible for your belief that homosexuality is a sin, if you are like such a person then you are a bigot according to the Houston Chronicle. The Houston Chronicle is not alone in that belief as there are many organizations that have and will continue to label any person that relies on the Word of God as a bigot for not endorsing homosexuality.

Genesis 19:4-9
King James Version (KJV)

4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

Leviticus 18:22
New International Version (NIV)

22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

Leviticus 20:13
English Standard Version (ESV)

13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.

Romans 1:24-27
New International Version (NIV)

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
English Standard Version (ESV)

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[b] 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Timothy 1:9-10

9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,

Archbishop Chaput: “tolerance is not a Christian virtue.”

3 August 2012

Archbishop Chaput

“We need to remember that tolerance is not a Christian virtue. Charity, justice, mercy, prudence, honesty — these are Christian virtues. And obviously, in a diverse community, tolerance is an important working principle. But it’s never an end itself. In fact, tolerating grave evil within a society is itself a form of serious evil. Likewise, democratic pluralism does not mean that Catholics should be quiet in public about serious moral issues because of some misguided sense of good manners. A healthy democracy requires vigorous moral debate to survive. Real pluralism demands that people of strong beliefs will advance their convictions in the public square — peacefully, legally and respectfully, but energetically and without embarrassment. Anything less is bad citizenship and a form of theft from the public conversation.”Source

Mary Spangler

Former Chancellor Mary Spangler has passed, here is all the good stuff the Chronicle and others have to say about her. Some at HCC or who knew her may disagree.

Deporter in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama II, does have his Latino Democrat loyalists

Democrat Henry Cuellar from Laredo is for deportations as quick as possible;

"We need to change our policy and send a strong message to these countries that we are going to deport them right away," Cuellar said.  "They can't just come in."Source

Does the Cuellar really thing that the countries are sending them over? Is he that stupid? It is obvious that stupidity is not a Republican virtue but cuts across both parties. I personally think that the Democrats are worse as they claim to stand for one thing but do another, at least the Republicans tell you what they think of you. Below are some opinions on where Obama's lap dog Congressman Henry Cuellar stands;

"Cuellar is horribly incorrect to assume waiting on the Republican-led Congress to act on immigration is even a realistic option at this point. It's almost been an entire year since the Senate voted to pass their immigration reform bill. Cuellar's Republican colleagues have since done absolutely nothing to help move reform forward.

The immigrant families in Cuellar's district, situated along the border, simply do not have the luxury of time when it comes to deportations. Certainly, not with the recording breaking levels these are being done. These families shouldn't have to wait on Republicans any longer in order for Democrats to act in whatever lawful ways they can, without overreaching President Obama's executive power.

But, luckily for Cuellar, he doesn't stand alone in his opinion: Republican U.S. Senator Ted Cruz agrees with him.

Yesterday, twenty-two Republican Senators, among them Ted Cruz, sent a letter to President Obama demanding that he takes no action regarding deportations. It's not withing his authority, they say.

When a member begins to agree with Ted Cruz, 'moderate Democrat' is perhaps no longer an appropriate term to correctly describe them." Source

For people like Cuellar it is all about getting re-elected;

"The concern is that vulnerable Democrats in conservative-leaning territory could be attacked in this year’s elections if Obama makes major policy moves without Congress — a criticism used by Republicans most frequently regarding administrative delays in the health care law. And the chances of comprehensive reform might be damaged by the vision of Obama acting unilaterally, since the specter of the president doing so on Obamacare already has many Republicans up in arms." Source

Congressman Henry Cuellar is playing the lives of children;

"Representatives Cuellar and Lipinski are playing politics with the lives of immigrant families and telling our communities that we’re not important and that we don’t deserve justice and immediate relief. Both Cuellar and Lipinski are choosing to look the other way as children lose their parents to deportations, parents lose their children when they’re pulled over because of a broken tail light, and wives are forced to raise their children as single parents because husbands and fathers have been detained by ICE when they show up at work. If they’re so confident in the legislative process, our movement wants to see them take leadership and actually move real bipartisan legislation forward rather than just giving us more lip service. We want action—and we won’t stop until we win a pathway to citizenship for all 11 million aspiring Americans, whose only crime is pursuing a better life for themselves and their families." Source

$5,000,000 (Five million dollars) a day that what Obama, Cuellar, and the Republicans are protecting, it is not about lives it is about lining the pockets of people that contribute to campaigns:

"Very few taxpayers have ever heard of the Congressional Bed Mandate -- the quota that requires 34,000 undocumented immigrants be detained every single night -- but it's costing them five million dollars, each and every day.

The Bed Mandate is the main engine powering the deportation machine that's chewing up the lives of so many good people. The mandate is wrong on every level, from ethical to fiscal. It's so wrong that I wish I could just blame it on the Republicans.

But when it comes to the Congressional Bed Mandate, Democrats are a big part of the problem, which brings me back to the five millions reasons. This betrayal of immigrants is about dollars. It may be a cliché to say "Follow the Money" but even in the strange universe of immigration reform, tracking down the cash can lead to some very interesting places.

How else can one explain the votes of immigration reform minded Democratic congressmen and congresswomen like Henry Cuellar (D-TX) or Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) who voted to keep the crazy boondoggle of the Congressional Bed Mandate in place?

The money trail on the Bed Mandate leads from immigration reform directly to another pressing issue of our time -- America's private prison industrial complex.

You probably know the statistics about how the U.S. incarceration rate, per capita, is the highest in the world. This is due in no small part to the explosive growth of the private prison industry and inconceivable contractual demands such as "100 percent occupancy" rates. In the Public Interest noted:

"Private prison beds were intended to be a safety valve to address demand that exceeded public capacity. It was never intended that taxpayers would be the safety valve to ensure private prison companies' profits."Source

Why people are fleeing those Central American Countries? We the United States had a hand in the problems:

One last statement you always have idiots that make stupid statements make Mexico stop the immigrants. Heck Mexico can't stop the flow of drugs North what would make one think they could stop the flow of people that look like any a "Mexican". The U.S. can't stop the use of drugs either or won't. I personally thing that Mexico should allow the free flow of drugs North, tax the flow and let the United States worry about stopping the drug trade at the border.

It is all in the Wording

" Gay-Hating Holy Rollers Descend on D.C." Source

The above title goes with the article, think they are not using words to spread hate? One could easily label the article, Religious people descend on D.C. Most of those poeple don't hate homosexuals, they don't like the sin. We are not far away from when the Bible will become the bigot's reference guide. There is a homosexual agenda and it includes bullying.

Annise Parker a Liar and a Bully

It seems that the Tyrant in Chief, Annise Parker, has set her eyes on controlling the District Council Member's use of funds to help their districts.

"That glee could be tempered by reality, however, as questions about how the program will operate get answered. To begin with, there are the existing city procurement rules and construction standards that could get in the way of the speedy fixes the funds are intended to provide. And then there is the city charter, which limits council members to a legislative role, barring them from administering funds or exercising the authority of department heads. That means, for the program to be legal, Mayor Annise Parker must approve each request, with no appeals process if she declines. A response would be required within 10 business days, but the mayor made clear her review will not be cursory." Source

City Charter is used by the Bully Annise Parker, since when has that document mattered to her. There is a charter requirement that City employees that are of the same sex cannot receive benefits the same as traditional married couples. She did as she wanted so why is the Charter valid some times and not others, Mayor Bully?

A video that will bring a smile to some people - have a great weekend

Are Homosexuals on a Witch Hunt

Perkins was speaking to The Daily Beast in the lobby of a New Orleans hotel in between sessions of the Republican Leadership Conference, a semi-annual gathering of conservatives from around the country. At an address to the delegates earlier in the day, Perkins railed against what he called, “The New McCarthyism,” which “would force every corporate leader, university official, public contractor, or media figure to answer a question: ‘Are you now or have you ever been involved in an effort to preserve marriage as the union of a man and a woman?’”

“No, I’ll go further than that,” Perkins continued. “This New McCarthyism demands, ‘Do you now think or have you ever thought that marriage should remain the union of a man and a woman?’ Answer incorrectly, and watch your career be taken from you and your reputation smeared on a thousand websites.” ...

Many of these fears burst out into the open earlier this year when Brendan Eich, the CEO of Mozilla, was run out of his position after it was revealed that he had donated money to the anti-gay marriage cause in California. Although some supporters of gay rights even thought the Eich affair was handled poorly, it sent a signal “that you have to be politically correct if you want to attain a higher position,” said Warner Todd Huston, a conservative activist and writer.

“That is the fear, that traditional American values are being criminalize as opposed to simply being out of fashion,” he said. Source

Of course they are aided and abetted with the help of the media like the Houston Chronicle that never fails to address anyone that speaks out about homosexuality as "anti-gay activists", here. Do the they refer to the Bible as the "anti-gay" book? Of course not at least now but that may come in the near future.

Bill King and the Watermelon Truck

Bill King attempts to defend his watermelon truck "business" story in referring to the Houston Chief of Police, here. Here is an article as to how the African American community took offense to the lead off by Bill King. Bill King mentions the Huffington Post a quick Google gave me this, not exactly what Bill King refers to. I am sure that Bill King is an honorable man and he did not intend to offend the African American community but I do doubt his quick Google search netted him all those stories about the watermelon truck used in business schools. In fact a Google search of watermelons and truck lead one to joke of the day, below.

Watermelon Salesmen Two Irish farmers bought a truckload of watermelons, paying one dollar apiece for them. Then they drove to the market and sold all their melons for the SAME price they'd paid for them. After counting their money at the end of the day, they realize they'd ended up with no more money than they'd started with. "See!" said one. "I told you we should have gotten a bigger truck. Source

Well the joke is insulting of the Irish, not the African American community.

Millions for Homosexuals - Zilch for Firefighters

Annise Parker and the Houston Chronicle have several things in common they constantly push for homosexuals and they are voracious liars.

The Houston firefighters over whelming rejected the contract that was offered by Annise Parker, only seven percent (7%) of the firefighters voted for the contract. During the time that the contract was being considered Annise Parker resorted to her evil ways of by adding a condition that the firefighter that was represented in the pension board would have to do it on his days off. That is one of the reason that the firefighters rejected the contract. The other being that it would effect the firefighters' pension in a negative way. The Mayor of Houston (Annise Parker) is very vindicative.

The Houston Chronicle of course promotes the lies that the Mayor eschews, such as;

"That budget crunch wasn't a result of slashed funding, but loose schedule management that allowed firefighters to take guaranteed holidays with no notice." Source

That statement above is an outright lie by the Houston Chronicle, the firefighters have to give at minimum 14 days notice prior to getting vacation time. Most days off are requested months in advance.

The City is spending or will spend millions of dollars defending the ordinances that Annise Parker has pushed that give homosexuals the same benefits as heterosexual married couple. There is Charter amendment that prohibits the City from doing that but Annise Parker does not care about the law.

Greg Abbot - First Latina First Lady of Texas

"Greg Abbott debuted his first general election campaign ad Tuesday, bucking his party's recent trend by at least attempting to appeal to Hispanic voters.

The ad, which can be seen in full below and features Abbott's mother-in-law and sister-in-law, was aired on Univision during Mexico and Brazil's 0-0 World Cup match on Tuesday. It will air on the station throughout the tournament.

Although Abbott has compared the border region to a Third World country and has a $300 million plan to secure it, he has never been quite as confrontational as his Republican ticket-mates on immigration issues.

Republican Lieutenant Governor nominee Dan Patrick has accused undocumented persons of staging an "illegal invasion" and has pledged to do everything he can, if elected, to repeal Texas' version of the DREAM Act. Abbott has said that he only wants to reform the act -- which allows certain undocumented students to attend college at in-state tuition rates -- rather than get rid of it entirely. As recently as April, Abbott trailed Wendy Davis by as few as 10 points among voters who identified as Hispanic.

Davis, who in the Democratic primary lost 20 border counties to a candidate who didn't spend a dime, is thought to be having trouble gaining support from some Hispanics, specifically Catholic Hispanics, who know her best from her 2013 filibuster against new abortion restrictions in Texas.
With this ad, and the many that are sure to follow, Abbott appears set to at least take a run at those voters (and soccer fans who are watching Univision because they just can't handle ESPN's coverage)." Source

I for one remember that it was a Republican contolled government that allowed young children who graduated from High School to attend Texas colleges to pay the same tuition as any other legal Texas resident. Democrats talk a great fight but when they are in power they don't come through as evident by the Democratic Chair of Harris County locking the door to stop the DREAMERS from speaking with him.

From HCC - All news is bad news

The Police officers are asking questions about the following things that will affect budgets

1)      Purchase of Segways under Art and Chief Cunningham that are stored in warehouse and have never been used?
2)      Told, just recently, that he (Cunningham) does not have money to put fuel in the police cars over the summer and that he is not going to ask the Chancellor for more money.
3)      Chief wants to purchase new set of uniforms for officers when they just changed the one they have now less than 2 years ago.  They feel they need other resources not new uniforms.

Informed by Student Life Personnel that for several years HCC collected $6.00 (athletic fees) from students and that the money has been misappropriated and over $1million dollars cannot be accounted for.  Seems money spent more for the venues they purchased for student athletic’s with the student’s money.  Feel the trustees need to immediately audit this fund before they are improperly used, in particular those  funds for  the apartments that HCC is planning to build.  They feel, because they have heard theses are some of the funds HCC used to purchase the property for the apartments for students at Central.

Also, will the RV purchased by Coleman ever come out of storage at the garage where it has been stored for more than three years?

Just told that the board may have approved purchase piece of property that the EPA says will need work on before it can be used to build any buildings upon.

It all begins with a hundred $s here and a hundred $s there and before you know it it becomes thousands

Zeph Capo ran a campaign promising strong ethics and transparency but yet he has no qualms of using taxpayers monies to buy trinkets to toss out during the "Gay Pride Parade. INSIDE has information that $300 was transferred from one account to another so that he could buy trinkets. Three hundred dollars were transferred from Department 0611- Program 462 to Department 7087 - Program 441. We may have to put Zeph Capo at par with Annise Parker, liar, liar pants on fire.

If the above information is true Mr. Capo, certainly your pocket book could bear spending your own money for such trivial things.

New Chancellor same old No Transparency

Several weeks ago INSIDE requested certain information, Rene Byas contract. To this day HCC has not sent the request to the Attorney General nor have they provided the information as required by law. HCC had no problem honoring the Chronicle's request for Dr. Maldonado's contract, why the difference? This past week after waiting patiently for other information, INSIDE finally received notice that the information on HCC police officer's complaints were ready and that the information as to how much we are paying two law firms for their services. That was the good news the bad news is that INSIDE agreed to pay the amount HCC requested but has yet to receive a reply.

From the Comment section

Even though it was thought impossible, the procurement department is getting worse. Why does it take days to weeks to get a PO completed? (And yes CB, all approvals were obtained on the requisition.) When you call them you will be lucky to even get an answer or response at all. Getting anyone on the phone who can give a straight answer is sheer impossible. What happened to Armand and the other buyer who left? Why did HCC not retain these employees? At least they answered their phones and gave us straight answers. There are so many new people in the department but it seems like none of them are allowed to actually do their jobs.

Dr. Maldonado listen to your faculty and staff you have a lot of wonderful people who are there because they care about education, not contracts. They need materials to teach, please check into the purchasing department.

It is a Scary Day in America - source

It’s a scary day in America when you can’t say what you believe, either out loud or on a bumper sticker, without fear of losing your job. Conservatives ought to be concerned. Libertarians ought to be livid. Liberals, if they have any intellectual honesty – especially the ones allegedly espousing “tolerance” – ought to be as mad as anybody about this. for the entire article here.

INSIDE has often pointed out that here in Harris County the Homosexuals and Unions work together and control the Democratic Party. Anyone that does not espouse their beliefs is not allowed to be in office.

There are lies, Damn Lies, and Annise Parker

In today's Houston Chronicle the Mayor of Houston keeps her reputation alive of being a prolific liar by making this claim;

"We've been funding the police department by one of the most efficient, effective uses of resources anywhere to get us to today. I can't fund the Houston Police Department with less money."

Unless voters adjust the revenue cap, soaring property appraisals are expected to force a cut in the property tax rate next year, carving millions of dollars from the city budget in the fiscal year that begins July 1, 2015. The cap limits the growth in city revenues to the combined rates of inflation and population growth." Source

The City will not receive less money than it does this year it just will not get as much money as the Mayor wants to spend on her special projects. Annise Parker is like the rabbit that just does not stop, the rabbit with energy supplied by batteries and Annise Parker by her constant lying to residents of Houston.

Remember the rain tax, the fee one sees in their water bill every month? She promised infrastructure repair. She lied she has used it for Bicycle trails, she has used it to pay off other debt, she has used it for every thing but what she promised to use it for. Annise Parker is a liar.

Remember the I will not push my personal agenda? She used an executive order that allows men to use women's bathrooms. She pushed through an ordinance that will do the same thing throughout the City of Houston. Annise Parker is a liar.

Remember Annise Parker promise to the persons who love animals?

"In 2009, Parker promised to do everything in her power to ensure that BARC became a No-Kill shelter.   However, after 2 terms and four years of broken promises and complete and utter failure, Parker now conveniently claims that BARC cannot be 100% No Kill." Source

Annise Parker is a liar.

HCC - Will they ever get it Right?

It seems that the wrong students received notice of financial awards. So much incompetency.

Chronicle never fails to prints falsehoods

A writer for the Houston Chronicle wrote;

"In fact, a large and growing body of scientific evidence suggests sexual orientation is influenced by genes." Source

There have numerous attempts to link homosexuality to genes, thus far they have failed. From one of the latest studies;

"Dr Bailey said environmental factors were likely to have the biggest impact on homosexuality.

“Don’t confuse “environmental” with “socially acquired.” Environment means anything that is not in our DNA at birth, and that includes a lot of stuff that is not social,” he said." Source this source suggests the same, the headlines suggest it is genes but the body of the article suggest different, i.e.,

Interestingly no similar genes have been discovered which influence female homosexuality.

“No-body has found something like this in women,” he added.

Dr Bailey said environmental factors were likely to have the biggest impact on homosexuality.

He added: “Don’t confuse “environmental” with “socially acquired.” Environment means anything that is not in our DNA at birth, and that includes a lot of stuff that is not social.”

Richard Lane, of Stonewall, said that while studies into the origins of homosexuality have yet to produce firm evidence, they do to point to a biological root.

Someone who is homosexual does deserve respect.

What the reporter for the Chronicle may have purposely written that way to suggest that something is true which is not. The correct way would have been that there is a gene that seems to be common in homosexual men. There is no such common gene for lesbians. I wonder who is more ignorant the governor or the reporter?

We need to make up our minds

We train them and arm them to fight against Assad but we will now go fight them in Iraq. What dopes we are, well at least the present President of the United States.

Government union wants 'Duck Dynasty' fans fired

Eli Craft

A union representing federal employees at Eglin Air Force base in Florida is demanding that two senior management officials be removed from their posts because they put decals on their personal trucks supporting Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson.

Alan Cooper, the executive vice president of the local chapter of the American Federation of Government Employees, said one of the officials also displayed the “I Support Phil” decals in his office last month and offered them to subordinates.

“The BUE (bargaining union employee) was clearly offended and disgusted that a senior management official would display the decal on their pod,” read an email Cooper wrote.

“We took offense,” Cooper told me in a telephone interview. “These two particular individuals have a great amount of influence over individuals who may be gay, who may be African-American – and we have a concern they should not be in a position to exert that influence when it comes to promotions.”

In an email that was sent to union members, Cooper said the Duck Dynasty decal may be a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

“Phil Robertson has made disparaging remarks against a vast array of people, which created a firestorm in the media in the recent past,” Cooper wrote.

He was referring to comments Robertson made in GQ magazine last year about homosexuality and his personal observations about the pre-Civil Rights era. A&E briefly suspended Robertson from his popular reality television show. But the network reversed its decision after they were overwhelmed by supporters of the program. I write about how Robertson and his family were viciously attacked by the media and militant gay rights organizations in my new book, “God Less America.”

Cooper told me he wants the two civilian managers at the Air Force base removed from their positions.
“I don’t know how long these individuals harbored these views – could they have impacted employment opportunities for folks that have been disparaged by the likes of a Phil Robertson,” he said.

Regardless, he wants the Duck Dynasty fans dealt with, noting “it’s definitely 100 percent inappropriate for an organization that espouses a zero tolerance policy” to condone such activity.

“If it’s zero tolerance, it’s zero tolerance for everybody,” he said, referring to the military’s anti-discrimination policies.
I spoke with one of the individuals being targeted by the government union. He asked that I not disclose his name. He rejected the accusations that he was a racist or homophobe because he supports Duck Dynasty.

“My intent was not to offend anybody,” the individual told me. “My intent was to support the show and to show support for his Christian values.”

The individual told me he was especially upset after union workers took photographs of his truck and his license plate and emailed the images to other union members. That email was reportedly sent to hundreds and hundreds of personnel.
“I see the email that went out accusing me and my boss of being racist,” he said. “That couldn’t be farther from the truth.”

“I’m pro-family,” he said. “I’m pro-life. I don’t have a problem with anybody who doesn’t agree with me.”
He said he has absolutely no plans to remove the decal from his truck.

“I’m not taking it off,” he said. “If they want to make me retire early that’s what I’ll do. But I’m not backing down.”
The civilian worker told me it’s a First Amendment issue. He said there are plenty of vehicles on the military base that are plastered with all sorts of stickers.

“I disagree with 90 percent of what our Commander in Chief believes in, but I’m not asking anyone to take (an Obama decal) off their vehicle,” he said. “It’s a freedom of speech issue.”

And that’s exactly what the Air Force believes it is. They investigated the claims made by the union and determined that the two civilian workers were well within their rights to support Duck Dynasty.

“Brigadier General Dave Harris is not taking any action against the individual as the display of such a bumper sticker is considered legally protected speech under the First Amendment,” said Andy Bourland, director of public affairs at the military base.

Bourland also told me they looked into the incident involving the decals in the worker’s office. They also decided not to take action in that incident.

Eli Craft is a member of the union and he told me he is furious at how union leadership handled the incident.“It was extremely, extremely upsetting,” he said. “The community we live in is a very faith-based community. For someone to say this individual was offensive and if you support him you can’t manage or lead a diverse work place – it blew my mind.”

Craft had nothing but praise for the two managers. He said they are long time veterans of the military and volunteer in the community.“They are Christians – that’s how they live their lives,” he said.” And around the Florida panhandle, Craft said there are plenty of Duck Dynasty fans.“Heck yeah,” he said. “The Duck Dynasty folks represent a lot of the folks who hunt and fish and who are Christians in the panhandle. That family and that program represent a way of life we see here.”

Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, said the government union wants to shut down free speech.
“Could you imagine if someone demanded someone take an Obama bumper sticker off because President Obama is intolerant to orthodox Christian views?” Perkins asked. “Where does this stop?”

He said their attack on the two Duck Dynasty fans is an example of the Left’s intimidation and intolerance.

“They do not want anyone to have a choice to express themselves in a way that counters their own viewpoint and that’s very dangerous to our republic,” Perkins said. “This goes back to the underlying emphasis and goal – not to debate the merits of whether someone is right or not. It’s to shut down the debate. End of story. No discussion.”

For now – the jobs of the two Duck Dynasty fans are safe. It’s unclear at this point what the union’s next step might be. But they should heed this warning. I’m going to be keeping my eye on the American Government Employees Union. And should they try to retaliate against these brave Americans, it’ll be on like Donkey Kong. And that’s a fact, Jack.

Republicans and their idiocy

Head of the Republican Party states "if Korea can secure the border so can we". I don't know what they serve at those Republican conventions but they need to start selling it as I am sure that drug users will love it, whatever it is.

Iraq has secured their border? Really do the Republicans read? If they do read can they comprehend what they read? But just in case here is an article on Iraq and secure borders. The source is from the Republicans most trusted source.

"The militants thought to be behind the bloodshed are affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The Al Qaeda-affiliated splinter groups and other militants have also strengthened their hold on parts of Iraq’s western Anbar province, which includes the city of Fallujah and parts of Ramadi since late last year. The government has been slow to respond and even slower in its campaign to dismantle the groups."

Korea and secure borders, first there is a big difference in size. The border between North and South Korea is 160 miles long. The border between the United States and Mexico, one has to assume that the Republicans don't care about the Canadian border, is 1,933 miles. If the Canadian border is added that is another 3,987 miles to secure.

The Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ; is a strip of land running across the Korean Peninsula that serves as a buffer zone between North and South Korea. The DMZ is a de-facto border barrier, which runs along the 38th parallel north. The DMZ cuts the Korean Peninsula roughly in half, crossing the 38th parallel on an angle, with the west end of the DMZ lying south of the parallel and the east end lying north of it. It was created as part of the Korean Armistice Agreement between North Korea, the People's Republic of China, and the United Nations Command forces in 1953.

It is 250 kilometres (160 miles) long,[1] approximately 4 km (2.5 mi) wide and, despite its name, is the most heavily militarized border in the world.[2][3] The Northern Limit Line, or NLL, is the de facto maritime boundary between North and South Korea in the Yellow Sea and the coastline and islands on both sides of the NLL are also heavily militarized.[4]

Well we will have to move a lot of people away from the border if we are to try to secure it the same way. People who reside in Laredo, El Paso, Brownsville, McAllen may not to be too happy with that. Off course we will have to compensate the land owners for their property. I am sure that the Republicans will not have any problem with that.

While they are arguing about securing borders all those immigrants that are here will continue having children, U.S. citizens. I don't think they will be happy with a Party that hates their parents.

If they like Romney believe that they will self deport, they have a long wait ahead of them.

Republicans and their idiocy.

Former Acting Chancellor

Back when they were considering placing Ms. Rene Byas as acting chancellor, INSIDE gave her some advice, via this blog. Don't take the job it will be probably be the end of your career with HCC. Rumor now has it that she may have reached that point. INSIDE will again give some unsolicited advice, don't make things worse as things are no longer the same as when Art Tyler and Mary Spangler left. There is too much light now that would shine in places where some people would rather not have the light shine. You chose the the Welfare Partnership over the people that do the hiring and firing, you picked the wrong side.

Rumor from very credible sources have stated the former acting chancellor is now at home, pending further decision as to the status of her contract. Charles Cook is gone and rumor has it that at least one other top official will soon be departing. Unfortunately as to the Presidents the rumor is not good, supposedly they were given two year contracts by the former acting chancellor. INSIDE has submitted an open records request to verify if the rumor, as to the two years contracts, is true.

One of HCC Trustees made the Houston Chronicle's one the most fascinating people, here.

National - New York Times

For a President that ran on taking care of our Veterans, Obama has not been a man of his word. Don't believe that History will be kind to him.

More than 57,000 patients have been waiting more than three months for medical appointments at hospitals and clinics run by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and nearly 64,000 others have been enrolled in the system for a decade but have still not been seen by doctors despite their requests, according to a nationwide audit released Monday.Source

Obama was made aware in 2008 - Washington Times

President Obama’s transition team was warned in 2008 that repeated audits showed the Veterans Affairs Department was misreporting wait times for medical treatment, including one audit revealing delays nearly 10 times worse than the department was officially acknowledging.

The situation was so bad that the inspector general said it stopped trying to police the issue until the VA could prove its information was accurate — raising a red flag for the transition team, according to documents obtained by The Washington Times. Source

The Last Bastion of Morality

The homosexuals have targeted the Republican Party to take control of it as they have the Democratic Party. Their agenda has already given them control over the media, one cannot watch a movie or a TV series without having to watch homosexual activities. The media has made it seem that as if homosexual activity is every neighbor next to you. Five percent (5%) is about the population of homosexuals in this country and much lower in others.

Lisa Falkenberg the so called reporter carried their water in today's Houston Chronicle.

"The obvious question for Busby is why he wants to align himself with a party full of so many people who don't want him - a party that, once again this year, denied Log Cabin Republicans a booth at the ongoing state convention in Fort Worth.

He has plenty of answers. One he delivered with a chuckle: "There is a much greater chance in my opinion that the work I do in the Republican Party will eventually change the party's stance to be more equal and open than my participation in the Democrat Party would ever bring about a balanced budget."

The Log Cabin Republican (Homosexual or Gay if you prefer) hit it right on the nail, "A much greater chance" that his vote will mean much more in the Republican Primary than it will in November. Besides who says the Republican Party does not want him? What is behind closed doors is unseen, unless the person opens the door for them to see what is inside.

Lisa Falkenberg and others like the so called Republican person interviewed keep comparing the plight of the homosexual to the plight of the African Americans. There is no comparison.

"Several of you are considering a 'no' vote, but in your hearts know this is the right thing," he told them in a packed council chamber. "We look back at the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and we don't say to those senators who voted no that they were voting their constituents or they were voting against laws and regulations, or that they were voting against expanded government. We say they were voting against people's rights."

If they want to compare themselves compare themselves they should compare themselves to the plight of the Jewish community who could easily change their names to Christian names, many did. What African American could hide the fact that he was African American. How many homosexuals were brought here as slaves. How many "No homosexuals" allowed signs were posted. How many deed restrictions prohibited homosexuals from buying houses in certain neighborhoods? Where is the history of discrimination that raises to the level of the African American.

The Republican Party is last Bastion of Morality.

Homosexuals and their Supporters have it it clear

you sign the petition we will go after you, we will target you, we will harrass you.

One last thing. I don’t know how well the petition effort to repeal the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance is going. It’s not that high a bar to clear, and there are sadly plenty of people out there who think like Steven Hotze and Kendall Baker, so I won’t be surprised if they succeed. It should be noted that the petitions, if they do get filed with the City Secretary, become public documents. If there are any closet supporters of repeal out there, the only way they can stay in that closet is to not sign one of those petitions. Just FYI. Source

The same person who wrote the article calls Dr. Hotze (Medical Doctor), a liar, but then explains why Hotze is right that men will go into women's bathrooms.

Chronicle is already pushing for a tax increase

The Houston Chronicle using it columnist Lisa Falkenberg is pushing for a tax increase. The Chronicle claims that the lack of crime solving is because of the revenue cap. That the City needs more money. When the headlines are constantly about new Parks, about new Bicycle lanes, about giving $75 million for apartments for the rich in downtown it is very difficult to believe that the lack of money is the problem.

Three years ago Annise Parker and Stephen Castello cajoled the taxpayers into approving a drainage fee (TAX) with the promise that it would be for infrastructure. Three years later Houstonians find out that it was not being used for what it was promised, here.

There has been one constant in Houston and that is that Annise Parker and the Houston Chronicles are Pathological Liars. There is not much they will not lie about when it comes to promoting homosexuality or raising taxes.

Do not believe the lies that the Chronicle and Annise Parker espouse. Why is the City spending millions of dollars on recycling when it needs the money else where? Why is the City spending millions of dollars on bicycle lanes when the money is needed is elsewhere? Why is the Mayor giving away millions of dollars so that developers can build lofts for the rich? Annise Parker ran as a conservative and a promise not to promote her lifestyle. She has broken both of those promises to the voters.

Lisa Falkenberg again failed basic news reporting by stating opinions not based on facts. She blames the police chief for not having enough police officers. The Mayor controls the budget. The police department and the police union have for years been warning the Mayor of insufficient manpower.

Mayor Annise Parker and Sheriff Adrian Garcia - a plan to Deport

Harris County leads the state in deportations with over 1,000 deportations a month. Many of those that have been deported were in the county jail for minor infractions, if in fact there were infractions. The number of deportations is about to shoot way up as Adrian Garcia, Annise Parker and the Houston Chronicle convinced people that a joint City and County jail would be a way to save money.

Annise Parker, Adrian Garcia have one thing in common they are both Democrats. While the Mayor, Annise Parker, is passing "Equal Rights" for homosexuals she has quietly been working to deport residents of Houston.

With the completion of the joint City and County jail the number of deportations in Houston may double. Every person taken to jail for walking on the wrong side of the street will risk being deported if they have no documents to prove they are legally here.

Latinos and the Democratic Party

Latinos have no reason to support the Democratic Party here in Houston. Look at the make up of the City and ask yourself does it look like Houston? Look at the employees in the County and ask yourself does it look like Houston? It does not matter what department or what Party the elected officials belong to. The County Attorney's office, Vince Ryan is a Democrat, does not look like Houston. There are exceptions and those tend to be Republican elected officials, like Chris Daniel and Orlando Sanchez.

There is no reason for Latinos to support the Democratic Party unless you believe in Homosexual marriage. There is no reason for Latinos to support the Democratic Party unless you believe in Abortions. That is what the Harris County Democratic Party stands for. When the DREAMERS came to Harris County the Democratic County Chair refused to meet with them, here. In fact the Democratic Party is lead by Lane Lewis, an Open Homosexual, locked the doors on them.

When HISD or PISD or any other school district arrest a child for fighting at school do not be surprised to find ICE and to see them deported. HISD will do its part to get rid of the "illegal invasion".

Let me repeat unless the Latinos support Homosexuality or Abortions there is no reason to support the Harris County Democratic Party. The Harris County Democratic Party is much worse than the Republican Party. The Democrats take our vote for granted at least the Republican Party tries to get our vote.

The Chief Violater of Equal Rights honors belongs to Annise Parker

Tejano Democrats and HBAD Criticize Parker Hiring Practices

Houston, TX—The Harris County Tejano Democrats (HCTD) and the Houston Black American Democrats (HBAD) today criticized mayoral candidate Annise Parker for her dismal record of hiring minorities in senior level positions in the Office of the City Controller.

A thorough review of the City of Houston Fiscal Year 2010 Budget found that of the ten top-level employees in the controller’s office, 70% are Anglo, while only 10% are Latino, 10% are Asian/Pacific Islander and 10% are African American.

The two organizations of community members also sounded the alarm at the startling discrepancies in salary between Anglo and minority employees in the controller’s office.

The FY 2010 budget found that while the average salary for Anglos in Parker’s office is $80,596, the average salaries for Asian/Pacific Islanders, African Americans and Latinos are respectively, $59,088, $54,086 and $53,980.

“It is unacceptable that in this day and age, a citywide elected official would employ such discriminatory hiring practices,” said Sandra Puente, HCTD Chair. “Annise Parker is not someone we can trust to lead our city. The leadership of her office does not reflect the great diversity of our city.”Source

Do not worry because Annise Parker made sure that her office like many other City Departments are exempt from the "Equal Rights" Ordinance.

Did The HCC Chancellor's First Check Bounce?

INSIDE has received information that numerous employees payroll checks, including HCC Chancellor Maldonado, were returned for insufficient funds.

Chancellor Cesar Maldonado was recently hired by Houston Community College. The check would have been his first as Chancellor.

According to sources it is not a problem of insufficient funds, but one of HCC letting go of a seasoned employee that knew how to do things and replacing him/her with someone that did not know.

According to the same source two employees paid themselves stipends. They rewarded themselves for doing the work of an employee who had left because he/she were fed up with the system.

The 4 steps of modern mass conditioning...

1) BOMBARD every one possible with the same message over & over & over until some accept it as truth.

2) Through politics, via lobbying & voting, get bills passed that leaglly back-up their agenda.

3) Try to take away my RIGHT to speak out aganst their agenda, and possibily the final nail in the

4) If I DO speak out against it, I,m made out to be Evil, or bad, or stupid, or old-fasioned, or a Religous-nut or even go to jail for expressing my opinion! (it's soon coming to that!)

HCC considers adding to debt to keep students at Central

One thing about governments they always seem to find novel ways to spend taxpayers monies to accomplish feats that can be done for much less. Here an article that is today's newspaper regarding the building of student housing for community college students. HCC was already considering do the same thing back in 2013, here. That would be Rene Byas that was making those plans and in all probability the Welfare Partnership aka Greater Houston Partnership was behind that idea. Wonder which trustees if any were aware that when the land was purchased near Central that the intention of buying the land was not to create a college but to create housing?

The article suggests that the Board of Trustees are stupid at best since the prior administration failed to tell them why the land was being purchased.

"The project is in early planning stages and would need approval from the board of trustees."

HCC paid nearly $15,000,000 on a piece of property and the Trustees did not know what the intent of the purchase was?

The lofts in San Antonio are not limited to students as San Antonio Community College, here. If similarly done here in Houston the lofts would be in competition with private developers, who would be at a disadvantage as to cost and pricing.

Another concern is that in San Antonio a student who rents there is entitled to in district tuition. That in district tuition is good for all students at all the colleges in San Antonio. Will HCC be competing with TSU and U of H for student housing?

Maybe that land that is located at 288 and MacGregor also will become a surprise for the Trustees.

Enrollment and how to increase it

INSIDE was talking to former Trustee Abel Davila and as to how best to increase enrollment to stop the decline. Trustee Abel Davila and his wife former HISD Trustee Diana Davila were probably the only two individuals that believe in education and did something about it. While they together expanded the Dual Credit Program and made it success at the Leonel Castillo School, they also were involved any many of the many other joint programs between HCC and HISD.

What former Trustee Abel Davila recommended is that HCC work with HISD and immediately expand the Dual Enrollment program. The students to be targeted would be the ones that need remedial help. HCC already has programs that get High School graduates ready for credited courses. If HCC utilized the building between 3 and 5 p.m. there would be no need for additional buildings. HCC had a study done several years back and found that between the hours of 3 and 6 that HCC building were almost empty as most professors did not like to work those hours so classes were not normally scheduled during those hours.

Log Cabin Republicans or someone using their Name is Supporting the Sexual Predator Ordinance

Sat, 31 May 2014 17:38:17 -0500
Log Cabin Republicans Houston<>

You may have received a petition today from Democrat Dave Wilson, who opposed our Republican county commissioner in a recent election. What is with Mr. Wilson’s obsession about restroom safety as a rationale to oppose nondiscrimination in employment and in public access to businesses and hotels? How does the adoption of a citywide polity to ban discrimination lead to such fears about perverts putting on a dress in order to gain access into women’s restrooms and locker rooms?

Statistically, children are more likely to be victims of sexual abuse at the hands of their fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, teachers, coaches, and clergy than by a random stranger in a restroom or locker room. According to a 2003 National Institutes of Justice report 3 out of 4 adolescents who have been sexually assaulted were victimized by someone they knew well. The Director of the Houston Area Women’s Center testified during open debate about the ordinance that she had never known of a single assault of a child in Houston from a cross-dressing male predator.

The members of Houston’s transgendered community generally do not want to draw attention to themselves, and have spent years and thousands of dollars undergoing psychotherapy, hormone therapy, and surgery to make their physical bodies align to their inner self identity.

In short, there are no documented cases in Houston of sexual assaults committed by transgendered persons using the restroom of their preferred gender. There are, however many cases of transgendered persons themselves being assaulted when using the restroom of the gender with which they do not identify.

Moreover, many Texas cities, such as El Paso, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Dallas and Austin, have enacted similar nondiscrimination policies with never a complaint of a bathroom attack. HISD itself has a similar policy, and has not reported an attack.

We can have a respectful debate about whether nondiscrimination laws work, are necessary, or are too expensive. Nevertheless, the debate should be based on facts and not on rhetoric meant to divide our city.

Let us look at the arguments that the Log Cabin Republicans made.

1) First arguments that they make;

"Statistically, children are more likely to be victims of sexual abuse at the hands of their fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, teachers, coaches, and clergy than by a random stranger in a restroom or locker room. According to a 2003 National Institutes of Justice report 3 out of 4 adolescents who have been sexually assaulted were victimized by someone they knew well. The Director of the Houston Area Women’s Center testified during open debate about the ordinance that she had never known of a single assault of a child in Houston from a cross-dressing male predator."

The first part is true, statistically, however it is a false argument similar to you are more likely to be involved in accident by someone that is not drunk. But we have laws against drinking and driving. Not a valid argument by the promoters of the Sexual Predator Ordinance.

The second part of the argument suggests that people will not cross dress to act as predators. Inside does not have an idea what data the Director of the women's center used but there are instances across the nation and other places where it has occurred. The Mayor has access to all the data that could show how many calls have been made to 311 but she chose not to release any studies.

The other part of the argument the LOG Cabin Republicans limit the argument to cross dressing males. The ordinance goes way beyond cross dressing males it allows men who think they are women (not men who are dressed as women) to enter a bathroom or shower.

There are countless examples of people dressing as women to commit assaults, but the one video below will speak for itself, here is the link to the story.

2) The second argument that they make; The members of Houston’s transgendered community generally do not want to draw attention to themselves, and have spent years and thousands of dollars undergoing psychotherapy, hormone therapy, and surgery to make their physical bodies align to their inner self identity.

How can one not draw attention to oneself and then advocate for something that will draw attention to oneself. The argument lacks sense.

3) The last argument;

Moreover, many Texas cities, such as El Paso, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Dallas and Austin, have enacted similar nondiscrimination policies with never a complaint of a bathroom attack. HISD itself has a similar policy, and has not reported an attack.

It because anyone that reporting such incidence risks a backlash from the homosexual bullies and their supporters, as an example.

"Also galling to the female students and their parents is the backlash the girls have suffered from their own school administrators, who reportedly have vowed to punish the students if their protests persist." Here is the article.

Below is a video of the incident. Is this what Houston wants? There are numerous left blogs that are claiming that the incident is false.

Time to Repeal Mayor Parker's Sexual Predator Protection Act
By: Jared Woodfill - Email
Chairman, Harris County Republican Party

HCRP Chairman Jared WoodfillI want to thank all of you who stood against Mayor Parker's Sexual Predator Protection Act. The battle to repeal this ordinance has begun. I encourage each of you to join me in taking a stand against the ordinance proposed by a Mayor who admits that the ordinance is all about her personal agenda and the campaign promises she made to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender ("LGBT") community. The next step in this battle is to promote and circulate a petition that would force a city-wide referendum to repeal Mayor Parker's Sexual Predator Protection Act.
There should be no special privileges for her special interests. Parker's Unequal Rights Ordinance is 34 pages long and creates two new "protected classes" in the city charter's anti-discrimination provisions. This new city ordinance would grant minority status for "sexual orientation" and "gender identification." Mayor Parker's ordinance would include minority status for transvestites, allowing men who dress as women to enter women's public bathrooms and locker room areas. For example, if a biological male, who believes he is a female, wants to use the women's restroom and you do not allow them to use the female restroom, then the leaders of the business, restaurant, church or other establishment could be prosecuted criminally for discrimination under the Mayor's ordinance. Additionally, it forces these same entities to recognize same sex marriage or be prosecuted for refusing to do so.
The ordinance is really about Mayor Parker's personal, social, LGBT agenda for the city, state, and country. She must be stopped!
Like you, I want to protect my family from being exposed to the dangers of male sexual predators masquerading as women in women's public bathrooms, locker rooms, showers and other facilities. It is outrageous that Mayor Parker and some members of city council passed an ordinance that places women and children at risk to sexual predators. That is why we refer to it as the Sexual Predator Protection Act.
Under the ordinance, if you as a business owner, disapprove of an individual's actions based on your religious beliefs, and don't participate then you can be prosecuted. For instance, if you are a photographer or cake maker who chooses not to participate in a homosexual wedding ceremony where your services are sought, then you too are subject to prosecution under the ordinance. Enough is enough! It is time for us to tell Parker and the city council, "No!"
So what is the next step? A petition drive to force a city-wide referendum to repeal the Sexual Predator Protection Act has been initiated. We have until June 30 to collect the requisite number of signatures to force a city-wide referendum.
The petition is finalized and posted at with all necessary instructions - they will be adding Notary and drop off points over the next couple of days.
The instructions and petition are also available at the links below. Unfortunately, only folks living in the City of Houston can sign the petition. Regardless of where you live, please forward this email and the website information to your distribution list. This will allow your network of friends to spread the word and gather signatures from those living in the City of Houston. Please let me know if you need anything to assist you. Remember, we have to collect 17,000 signatures by June 30th. I will keep you posted on our progress.

Petition Instructions:
Thank you for standing tall!

Please do not talk about personal matters, if someone is having an afffair or you heard rumors of affairs this is not the right forum. If you have proof and it effects the colleges send it to INSIDE and we will investigate.
